Error Resolution Report
For a comprehensive list of errors and warnings with resolution and prevention instructions, download our Error Resolution Report Guide.
If the Clearinghouse enrollment reporting Error Resolution on the Web (ERW) system flags any errors or warnings in your enrollment file, it will automatically email an error resolution report to users at your institution with the Submission Data and Submission Data Alternate roles. Once you have resolved the errors, we will process your enrollment file in our database and provide the certified data for NSLDS and loan servicer reporting and enrollment verifications.

- On the Clearinghouse website, click User Login in the top right.
- Select the Student Reporting tab.
- Click Data Reporting Dashboard.
- Click the Enrollment Reporting (Error Resolution Report) tile under Needs Immediate Attention.
- Review the error list. Errors that appear in red must be corrected before the file can be loaded into our database.
- Click the link in the error number, description, or count to view the details of the error.
Error Correction
Bulk Corrections
Not all errors can be corrected in bulk.
- Click Update All Records for Error.
- Check the Select Error checkbox.
- Make the necessary corrections.
- Click Submit.
- Click I Am Done to submit your corrections to the Clearinghouse or Back to Error List to make more corrections.
Individual Corrections
- Click the plus sign next to the student record you would like to correct to expand the details.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 for any additional records.
- When finished, click Submit Selected Records for Validation.
- Click I Am Done to submit your corrections to the Clearinghouse or Back to Error List to make more corrections.

If the SSN is correct, no action is required to update the SSN field. Contact the analyst assigned to the file to provide confirmation. If the SSN is incorrect, enter the correct SSN belonging to the student. If the student does not have a valid SSN to report, remove the SSN and enter ‘No SSN’ into the student SSN field. | This warning is occurring because an invalid SSN may have been reported.
