New Landing Page Layout & More

Welcome to our new quarterly update for your Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) service, featuring the latest updates and enhancements to help you get the most out of the PDP.

Landing Page & Dashboard Layouts

The PDP team has undertaken a major effort to improve the PDP’s overall look/feel, functionality, and navigation, which will continue into mid-2024. Here are the changes you will see in our November 7th release:

  1. The landing page has been completely redesigned and our institution and benchmarking dashboards broken out by tabs. Each dashboard’s description is located under its icon (replacing tooltips). Don’t worry, all the same, fantastic dashboards you rely on are there, they just look much better!
  2. The header and footer have changed slightly and the left navigation panel contains more options. Some buttons were moved to accommodate the changes. For example, the button to download pictures or export data is now below the dashboard title. These changes are part of our effort to add functionality and better integrate the PDP with the rest of our products.
  3. You can more easily navigate across the PDP interface using the left navigation panel, such as from the dashboards to manage account settings, file submission summary, and other areas of the PDP. Please note, access to some pages is restricted according to user permissions.

IMPORTANT: If you bookmarked the PDP landing page, please update your bookmark to the new URL, which you can also find on the PDP user portal.

Dashboard Filters

The new “Program of Study” filter and gender identifiers have been added to all PDP dashboards. We also updated the Student Insights Dashboard to include the gender identifiers. (If you have not opted-in to the Student Insights Dashboard, you can learn more.)

As you may be aware, we have been completing this work incrementally – and today marks that last increment! Find more information on the program of study filter and gender identifiers.

Effective Dates Reminder

If you missed our important dates for this academic year, read about them in this article.

In summary:

  • September 1 was when the most recent cohort year was pulled into the PDP dashboards. This can differ per key performance indicator (KPI) and can only be completed if the data was submitted to the PDP.
  • September 29 was the first effective date for the 2023-24 academic year. We completed the process (which normally takes about 3-4 weeks) to update enrollment and degree data in the PDP and its dashboards and provide updated analysis-ready (AR) files.
  • Our next effective date is November 27.

Watch for our next quarterly PDP update in early 2024.
