FSA Test Email Sent In Error to Some Schools

This post is for schools that received an FSA email on 4/25/23, with the subject line, “Important Alert – Enrollment Reporting Compliance – First Notice.”

The National Student Clearinghouse is aware of an email that was sent from Federal Student Aid (FSA) to some schools regarding non-compliance. This message was sent by FSA in error. We have communicated with FSA and they have advised they will be reaching out to schools that received the message.

From:  noreply@test.studentaid.gov

Subject Line: “Important Alert – Enrollment Reporting Compliance – First Notice

Email body begins with: “This letter is to inform you that your institution appears to be non-compliant with its obligation to submit student enrollment information to the Department of Education’s National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS). Specifically, your institution has not reported program-level enrollment information for a significant number of your students.

Email body ends with: “Questions?  If you need assistance with enrollment reporting, please contact the Test Support Center at testSupportCenter@accenturefederal.com or 1111111111…”
