2026 FVT/GE Reporting Update: Optional Fields for Student Level Report and Clearinghouse Validations
FSA has announced additional flexibility for the final FVT/GE reporting cycle that begins July 1, 2026. For reporting year 2026, several Student Level Report fields that were required in 2024 and 2025 may now be left blank. To align with FSA guidance, the Clearinghouse has updated the validation logic in our FVT/GE dashboard for 2026 Student Level Report submissions.
Compliance Reminder: Accurate and Timely Reporting of Graduated (G) Enrollment Statuses
When reporting enrollment to the National Student Clearinghouse, it’s critical that you ensure your submissions reflect accurate, complete enrollment data consistent with Federal Student Aid (FSA) guidance. This includes reporting both enrollment status increases and decreases correctly. Failure to report graduated (G) enrollment statuses accurately and in a timely manner is a common contributor to federal audit findings and borrower record discrepancies.
