New PDP Institutional-Level Dashboards Released
Our new institutional-level dashboards are now available for you to use in the Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP).
As we mentioned in our last PDP update, the redesign makes trends clearer, navigation easier, and comparisons faster. The new dashboards are:
- Enrollment
- Retention & Transfer
- Early Momentum Metrics
• Credit Momentum
• Gateway Course Completion - Outcomes & Credentials
- Subgroup Gap Analysis (releasing shortly after other dashboards)
As part of the redesign, the Executive Summary and Time-to-Credential/Credentials Conferred dashboards were retired. Other dashboards were combined and enhanced to streamline the experience.
Better Data Visualizations
The metrics in PDP haven’t changed — this update improves the way metrics are displayed. You’ll see clearer views of post-transfer outcomes and degree attainment, along with other visualization enhancements.

Visualization-Specific Filters (No Need to Adjust Chart Settings!)
Filters or selections that apply to only one visualization now appear next to it (instead of in chart settings). This makes it easier to switch between views, such as counts vs. percentages, or retention vs. persistence.

Easier Comparisons, Plus Clearer Changes-Over-Time Insights
Wherever possible, we added the ability to compare a single cohort to all your institution’s available cohorts. In many places, dimensions were selected to persist so you can compare different dimensions within one dashboard. New callout boxes highlight change over time (for cohort counts, enrollment numbers, and more) and allow you to select two cohorts to compare.

Overall Trends Are Always Highlighted
When you apply a dimension breakdown to a line chart, an “overall” trend line is displayed so you can quickly compare trends for your subpopulations to the overall cohort.
