The National Student Clearinghouse’s FVT/GE reporting solution helps you comply with Financial Value Transparency & Gainful Employment (FVT/GE) requirements. This guide takes you through how and when to request an ad hoc draft Completers List on the NSLDS site. Ad hoc draft completers lists are sent from NSLDS to the Clearinghouse and posted on the Clearinghouse secure site FVT/GE dashboard.
When You Should Request an Ad Hoc Draft Completers List from NSLDS
You should request ad hoc draft Completers List when:
- Financial Aid Officer has marked all three sections of “Build Worksheet” as completed.
- Financial Aid Officer has updated student records with a Graduated (G) enrollment status in the Clearinghouse and confirmed the updated data was sent to NSLDS.
- According to the FVT/GE regulations’ framework, NSLDS considers multiple factors to determine which students to include on your institution’s completers list (e.g., Title IV students who received federal aid from your institution for enrollment in the completed program IF there are 30+ completers within a 4-digit CIP prefix across all locations at the 6-digit OPEID level over the last four most recently completed award years).
- There are other factors that NSLDS considers to determine which students to include on the completers list that can be outside the institution’s view (e.g., NSLDS excludes students who were enrolled in a higher degree program or completed a higher degree program during the earnings year being evaluated).
- A current active draft completers list is not displayed, and your institution has not completed review of the completers list for the current FVT/GE reporting cycle.
- Anytime your institution wants to review an up-to-date draft list that reflects current changes made prior to the current FVT/GE reporting cycle’s due date.
