Transcript data can be transmitted using any standard format, even PDFs that look just like your paper transcripts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"htoc-what-does-electronic-transcript-exchange-include\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Does Electronic Transcript Exchange Include?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the convenience and security offered by Electronic Transcript Exchange, the service:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-enables-institutions-to-track-transcript-delivery-status-and-receipt\">Enables institutions to track transcript delivery status and receipt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-allows-all-institutions-to-receive-electronic-transcripts-at-no-cost\">Allows all institutions to receive electronic transcripts at no cost<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-waives-the-fee-for-sending-transcripts-for-transcript-ordering-participants\">Waives the fee for sending transcripts for Transcript Ordering participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-supports-all-file-formats\">Supports all file formats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"htoc-how-does-electronic-transcript-exchange-work\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Does Electronic Transcript Exchange Work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-when-establishing-your-service-your-institution-selects-the-file-formats-that-can-be-accepted-or-sent-by-each-of-its-participating-offices-departments-or-groups\">When establishing your service, your institution selects the file formats that can be accepted or sent by each of its participating offices, departments, or groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-before-sending-a-transcript-check-our-registry-to-obtain-the-recipient-id-and-accepted-file-type-s-for-the-institution-to-which-you-are-sending-a-transcript\">Before sending a transcript, check our registry to obtain the recipient ID and accepted file type(s) for the institution to which you are sending a transcript.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-sign-into-your-electronic-transcript-exchange-secure-ftp-account\">Sign into your Electronic Transcript Exchange secure FTP account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-upload-the-transcript-and-specify-the-recipient-a-file-delivery-receipt-will-be-mailed-to-you\">Upload the transcript and specify the recipient. A file delivery receipt will be mailed to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-when-a-transcript-is-sent-to-you-you-will-receive-an-email-with-the-url-where-you-can-log-in-and-download-the-file\">When a transcript is sent to you, you will receive an email with the URL, where you can log in and download the file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"htoc-are-transcript-pdfs-delivered-via-transcript-ordering-ada-compliant\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are Transcript PDFs Delivered Via Transcript Ordering ADA Compliant?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes.
